well you definitely have a mood disorder and she is head of the dept. (and pretty famous in her field) so may be difficult to see. But my rule of thumb is to call a major University and ask for the chairman's dept and speak to his/her secretary and ask who they would send their son/daughter/sister/brother to. I have gotten great referrals that way. Your meds are somewhat complex and you could probably use a psychopharmacologist who tend to hang out in academic settings (and this one happens to be my alma mater). I assume you asked your present pdoc for a referral? It's hard to lose one, I'm sorry. Did you receive therapy from him/her? If so, it is their job to transition you to the new pdoc and give you 30 days notice in writing of their intention. Take care, judy
