Geodon

Posted by ShelliR on March 16, 2001, at 23:23:35

My first try at taking geodon today was really bad. I felt shakey and had to cancel an business appointment because I was too disoriented. I have 20mg capsules (samples from my pdoc) and took one. Does anyone think it would be worth it to open the capsule and dump some of the powder out and try again? Has anyone had the experience of trying miniscule amounts and being able to eventually build up with atypical antipsychotics? Or is this the kind of thing that since it felt bad I should trust it is not the right med for me? As in the quick trial theory and move on.

p.s. the more I read about omega3, the more hopeful I am that it can be really helpful as an adjunct. In one nine month study they stopped the placebo after three months because the omega group was doing so much better that they switched everyone over. (This was for a bipolar study).
