Zoloft, Serax, Trazadone

Posted by powerpop on March 2, 2001, at 3:07:29

Hello everybody
I have been on Zoloft for 10 months (May 2000), 25 mg x 8 days, 50 mg x 8 days, then 100 mg. I lost 18 lbs the first 3 months, then gained them back, but have not gone over my original weight. I was on Tagamet for peptic ulcer disease and acid reflux, and it seemed to speed up the effect of the Zoloft. My Zoloft was raised to 200 mg 1x daily last month, Serax 10 mg 2x daily, my Tagamet was changed to Zantac 300 mg 2x daily, and I am now also on Trazadone 25mg at bedtime to help with the sleep. Does anybody know of any interactions between Zoloft, Trazadone, Serax, and Zantac that I may need to be careful of. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks
