I take upwards of 6 mg Mirapex per day and still have no side-effects. I don't have to take it with food. As far as weight gain, I haven't been on it long enough to notice that (only 2 weeks). The Mirapex works to a certain extent for my severe depression--maybe 25%--and it gives me hope that I might not have to go in for ECT.
But I am wondering if there are any cognitive side-effects from Mirapex that are so small that I would hardly notice them. Does that make sense?
You're not going to believe this: I also take mirtazapine, lamotrigine, venlafaxine XR, buproprion, buspirone, and pindolol.
I am still clinically depressed, though. :(
How much has the Mirapex alleviated your depression? 50%? 75%? I'm curious.
