I had the same problem. I was given Ambien for sleep. That would only give me about 4 hours of sleep and I'd be up again. Now I've been given Klonipin at night, and that works well. The problem is you can only get one month at a time in NY. My idiot pdoc said to call my mail order prescription company in PA and see if PA law allows them to do the 3 month mail order supply. They do, but then the jerk wouldn't give it to me after all. Actually, he lied and said he called after me and they said they wouldn't. I called again and they said again they would. He would only give me the one month. I don't see him anymore because he was dropping my insurance anyway. But, klonipin at night (.5 or .10) added to my Wellbutrin SR (150 2x day) allows me to feel good, and sleep, a priceless combination. The one month at a time thing is a drag though. The new pdoc I saw did give me a 3-month mail away prescription for the Klonipin, but I hate the new place - tons of people in the waiting room, no real appointments, basically a mill.
But the klonipin is worth a try. Good luck.
