after reading brett and johns pieces it was kind of a relief that people go through the same crap with this illness. (everyone always thinks they are the only person who can feel 'that bad')
i have been on aurorix for 6 months. sometimes i feel like it is working like a pro and then i other times i get depressed and think why am i feeling like this if i am taking ANTI-depressants.
i get quite angry about the medication system for mental illness. it's sort of a stick with it until it or something like it works and it sux. i know that the brain is the most difficult organ to work out but too much effort and money seems to be spent on mechanical technology and not on humans (cancer, aids and all uncureable illenss sufferers will DEFINATELY agree with me here)
anyway, i get sleepy and nausea with aurorix and sometimes quite snappy and irritable. i do have to take other drugs with it as well. i don't want to raise my dose though because that means my life will be even more disturbed. (bed time as soon as i wake up does not seem to be a good choice).
anyway, any other thoughts on any other medication that people are on for depression. i'd love to hear.
thanx to the other guys that wrote.
brett - it is difficult to make people understand how you feel, but if you tell them people are more likely to help you feel better.
bye now
