Hmmm. The usual dose is 150mg BID (2x/day)

Perhaps you are under the theraputic dose level.

Keep off the alcohol. It will cause you more harm than good when taking these medications.

A common side effect of wellbutrin is increased libido. In fact, it is often used in combination with SSRIs to counter the sexual side effects. When I was in the hospital, one of the nurses told me some really amusing things that patients on wellbutrin have done. :-) (use your imagination)

Now, about the anxiety problems: wellbutrin will *cause* anxiety and a benzodiazepine (ativan, etc) is often prescribed at the same time when the wellbutrin is started, then tapered off in a few weeks. Perhaps you need to add one of these drugs for a short time. ASK your doctor.

Good luck

Ted
