> The electric sensations do go away. I have been off Effexor for almost 2 weeks now, and I feel much better. The withdrawal effects were bad, but they did go away for me in 1 1/2 weeks. I am now on Zoloft, and doing much better. Like so many have said, it is hit and miss with these drugs, as different people will get different reactions. It does help to hear other's descriptions of these effects, as they are common to alot of people. Feeling much better now! Brenda
