Ironically, an article about these companies and services just appeared in our local paper from the Associated Press and likened these organizations to Sams Club or Costco. Evidently they may even include: "savings on prescription drugs, doctor visits, dental and other medical services. The buying clubs, set up by established companies such as Readers Digest and Internet newcomers, advertise savings of 10 percent to 70 percent off their medical bills at participating providers."
