In reply to ANY SUCCESS TREATING EFFEXOR SEXUAL SIDE EFFECTS?, posted by Hugger on August 26, 2000, at 11:45:33
If all of the usual antidotes have failed, try Viagra, even in a tiny dose (cut the pill in thirds). This is said to work for both women and men. It worked while I was on Prozac, whereas NOTHING else did. Obviously, it is important to discuss this with your doctor because people with heart conditions shouldn't take the drug. Also, it is expensive, but since you'll probably be able to get by on half or a third of a pill, the costs will be offset somewhat.

Effexor seems to be treating the depression pretty well, but has just about put an end to my sex life. Has anyone found a supplement that might offset this rather cruel side effect?
