Atirax for anxiety - CAM, ANYONE?

I was prescribed Atiraz for my anxiety, 25-50mgs every 6 hours or as needed. I'd like to find out a little more about it and if anyone has experience with it please tell me how it worked or works for you. It gets me pretty loaded right now which I hope will pass with time. It was prescribed in place of the Xanax which I felt was becoming a little addictive.
