Kava and valerian are herbal anti-anxiety substances but careful about interactions tianeptine might have with them because standard tianeptine "drug-interaction warnings" might consider only other Rx drugs and not OTC herbal ones. Try http://cp.gsm.com/ to check that or do a global search engine search for ( "German Comission E" AND (kava OR valerian) )

Thank you S.D. for your concern. My main reason to use Neurontin is to prevent poop out effect that I got from Tianeptine. My doctor suggests to use mood stabilizers as the solution. I already tried Lamictal (no success here:rash) and Topamax which augmented Tianeptine, but also potentated anxiety from it. I assumed that Neurontin may take anxiety away, since it provides more relaxing effect. My next option will be Tianeptine/Lithium.
Tianeptine is safe for cardiac problems, and I can't take stimulants anymore.
I took too much Ritalin and Dexedrine in addition to my antidepressants, and developed tachycardia, heart and chest pain.
Right now I'm looking for European medications as a base to augment them with mood stabilizers.
I hope to find the good match.
