Jennifer, I check in anywhere from several times a day to once every two or three. I used to be on all the time, and felt addicted. When circumstances came together that left me without internet service at home, I decided to not renew it, and now I use the internet at work and at the library. This makes me have to be more efficient and less glued.
It has gotten so busy here the last few months, though, that it is hard to keep up with reading everything, let alone responding. I think the volume also has affected my reaching out to new people, too. It is easier for new people to get lost in the shuffle with this much action. But thanks for speaking up about it!
Medlib, I am flattered by what you said about me, but dismayed at your self-deprecation. You are quite articulate and full of information, and perhaps I have been too reticent in acknowledging how much I learn from you.
Jennifer, you should also know that it might seem to a newcomer that some of us are old pals, some of us have only started connecting at this level recently.
