Klonopin question

What is the desired effect of Klonopin? DH's doc started him on 1m twice a day and increasing gradually to 3m twice a day. Also Celexa 60mg a day. What experiences has anyone had? Some of my reading suggest a disinhibitation may occur. If he was once prone to violent outburst will this cause it to return? Thanks in advance,
