Actually the more you take (in normals) the faster you go, till you become a speed freak. Catonic state is seen in normals at very high doses. It is with ADD persons that you see this paradoxical effect, usually normal doses puting people to sleep. As the poster was no ADD, I think, there is usually not a "paradoxical effect"
I would try Dexadrine.
