The pharmacies they dealt with required only the USA prescription. That isn't really legal in Canada, but some pharmacies do it anyway. I think they're plenty happy to get a busload of customers. :)

I, too, saw the same story on TV, which caused a brouhaha here in the US, the media, of course, having a field day with it.
Isn't it rather disgusting that in the very rich USA old, tired, handicapped, ailing senior citizens are FORCED to journey to another
country to save quite a bit of money on medications they need in order to live. Otherwise, if they paid the US prices for these same drugs, they'd
be forced to cut down on their food allowance; hence, Kitty-Kat Tuna Casserole every night.Is this any way to run a railroad?
