I've never heard of PTI........do you know if it is something utilized in all states or just where you live? Very interesting. I would think, also, that if you truly cannot afford an attorney, the court is obligated to appoint a pauper attorney. Even if your husband is then deemed able to pay, it could be paid in installment payments. (Of course you would have no control over who is representing you/your husband.) Please keep us posted. And I commend you on the type of work you do. It is quite admirable to bring efficient and loving care to the elderly - I'm sure they appreciate you!
