On the last page, I noticed posts regarding this subject. Stimulant drugs helped my ADHD, but I had a rare negative (allergic) reaction to them. I resorted to the natural approach, & am now taking SAMe. Though it has worked with regard to my ADHD, I also experienced an increase in appetite. While going through some of the past posts on this board, I found something about someone's doc recommending the Atkins' Diet, so I picked up a copy of the paperback DR. ATKINS' NEW DIET REVOLUTION at my local health food store. I'd always heard it was a 'fad' diet, & was a little skeptical; but after reading about it, I decided to give it a try. I love the results - the appetite's under control again! I feel pretty good; I was a little bit light headed at first; but I felt fine after someone suggested using Ume Plum Vinegar, which contains postassium & other important minerals (since the diet is a natural diuretic & may reduce blood pressure, a light headed sensation can occur in some people.) I'm a bit reluctant to give out this kind of advice, because each individual's case is so unique. I'd check with your own doc before trying it; however, it did seem to help me. I hope this will be of some assistance to you, too. Good luck, & take care!
