Hello Dennis: Your post caught my eye, because I switched from Celexa to Parnate several months ago. I will not be long winded, but it was a good move for me (after trying different drugs for about 5 years). You are wise to be concerned about food restrictions, Elizabeth, who will post on this forum, in my opinion is one of the "MAOI experts", as well as Scott and some others. It has been stated that some of the restrictions are overblown, and I think it's true. It was also stated that the restrictions are dose dependent.

My advice to you is to go back several months and search the archived messages for some possible answers to your questions. FYI, Celexa did not do that much for me as well. Blessings,

S. Suggs
