I agree. It seems all the labels say the meds can cause drowsiness and one should avoid operating machinery, but I have personally found some of them to be activating, and making sleep less like, not moreso. It is different for everyone. For example, for me Effexor is activating, but there have been people here who have found that it makes them sleepy. You have to find out what works for you. I think you might need more than a weekend to try out a med, maybe over a vacation. I also take a stimulant, methylphenidate, and it has helped make me more alert (I had drowsiness due to a sleep disorder).
