I feel a little overwhelmed by all the different meds and the various combinations, how can any one keep it all straight? :-) The docs I've seen are all so laissez-faire with writing out the scripts and telling me that the meds have no real side-effects. I am afraid of putting all these combinations into my body, they effect so many different things.

> You answered my posting above about my ADD cycling. you and I have alot of the same disorders. I have all 4 of these, ADD, manic depression, OCD and PTSD. listen carefully because I can't say it loud enough or often enough, I love lithium. Just 600mg a day keeps me out of the nuthouse and functioning (not at the highest level, but I'm working on that).

> Did your doctors just recently give you all these diagnosis? Yes they give out medications easily and they (or my psychiatrist anyway) never tell you about possible side affects. I imagine they know what incredible imaginations we already have and that we don't need any volunteered 'not pleasant' information to get our imaginations going even more about side affects. keep in touch, Janicehey everyone,
i have been diagnosed with manic-depression, add & anxiety disorder. Before the mania appeared, i was on adderall, klonopins, and effexor xr. Now, because of the mania, they're thinking of putting me on lithium, prozac, adderall, (and klonopins or xanax???). I don't want to be on all of these medications. Keep in touch with all your follow ups. thanx. :)
