How nice to hear from you! I take it, from your message that you are no stranger to the 3 R's (two of which need an apostrophe at the least...).
I agree...I could teach children to love animals, deal with others gently, or be assertive vs. aggressive, I could probably draw out of children the best that is in them...Be a steward and bring them along to love and respect themselves and others.
However, that's not what the school system wants. So, there's yet another dilemma.
I truly love it that you can see that in me. Too bad others (the hiring ones) cannot. BTW, I'm printing out your post, and will keep it next to my heart...or in the general vicinity.
