Hi, Thanks for the responses.
It is usually ONLY my signature. When notarizing something, I have to print a lot of stuff, on the document and in my 'notary record.' All that is at least legible. It's only the signature that is completely useless.
Plus, since I don't draw, I don't know about the other issues (being able to draw). And, when I'm just writing 'stuff' I'm fine. But, let me go get a refill (that I have to sign for), or notarize something....yikes. I'm totally embarrassed.
And, well, if there is a DX about that...I'm sure up for it!
Thanks, for the responses!
In Tx, the max amount a notary can charge is $6 (depending on the document, sometimes it is $1), plus if one travels to someone else's home, about $20 per hour plus mileage. So, I'd be happy to have a business card that said "Have Stamp...Will Travel" but, I doubt I'd earn that much (especially since I don't have a reliable car). However, I love the idea of the card (re: Palladin...).
However, more recently, I've been doing a LOT of self-talk (of the positive kind), and I do it before I have to sign something, and it seems to help some. We'll see if it really does help. Updates will be coming along.
xoxo
