Very well then, how about a query query? » NikkiT2

LoL!

OK, here's another problem I'm having: when I try to run a query that lists dates on which my mood has been especially low, along with any notes for that day, it repeats the information over and over again. I think it's because the dates come from the daily record table, the moods from a table that has multiple entries per day, and the notes from another table all together. Since the number of entries for each day on the mood scale and the notes table won't match, it shows [xy] rows instead of [x] or [y] rows. Following me? Is there simple way to consolidate that so that it shows, say, each record from the mood table for that date, with as many notes as there are but not [mood*note] rows? Is that making sense? (There are almost always more mood entries than notes for each day, by the way.)

If there is a way, but it would take too long to tell me what it is, no worries. If that's the case, though, can you tell me how to find the answer?

Thanks, Nikki. Glad your ISP is back up and running, though. A few years ago, when I was writing a grant application for the Center, I discovered at 3:45AM that my ISP's email server was down. Since I was frantically trying to keep coordinated with someone else, this was pretty awful for me. I sent an email to the head of the ISP from my excite account -- and he emailed me back in minutes and fixed it within about half an hour! I did lecture him through email that NORMAL people *sleep* once in a while, but that experience also solidified my loyalty to him and his little homegrown ISP. I'll never leave if I can help it.
