OK, this may be getting old, but....
with my shredder, I do the bag over the top, tip over the bin and collect the shreds (I will use a paper bag if I have one that fits due to fewer klingons than with plastic bag), and...YES! vacuum the remaining bits out (with either bag or bagless vac). But, truly, I don't do the vacuum part every time.
