Hi Tina!
I'm doing pretty well, but am sick (again). I can't remember getting this many colds in one season. Plus the stomach flu! Yowwww!
I have two mid-terms this week... one tomorrow night in vegetable and flower physiology and one Thursday in greenhouse management. I'm kinda nervous. They're both 4-credit courses.
One thing I can tell you is that cauliflower is a stupid vegetable. Don't ever try to grow it.
On the other hand, flowers are great! (Ok, maybe I'm biased.) I'm growing 52 ivy geraniums, 72 purple wave petunias, and trying to germinate seeds of 73 different perennial cultivars as part of the greenhouse class.
I think we should all become greenhouse workers, at least in the winter. The added amount of light is great, the warmth is wonderful, and the green plants and flowers are the best sight of all especially after the winter we've had. I'd like to see statistics on greenhouse workers and incidence of depression. I'll bet it's low. If you have a chance, get yourself to a commercial greenhouse or to a conservatory. It helps. (End of sermon.)
I still have a boyfriend. It was pretty rocky for some time, but seems to be getting more better as well as more serious now... marriage and children come up in conversation fairly often. Who knows.
I was sorry to read about your and Greg's companies' shutdowns. Sometimes changes that come to us like this become blessings later. Maybe this is one of those.
Sending good thoughts for better times ahead for you and for Greg!
Love,
alli
