Well being in pain makes everything worse and sinus infections can cause some of the worst pain. A medrol pack (prednisone) will shrink the tissues in 24 hours- before antibiotics can even touch it. That will take care of the pressure headaches- honestly the worst of it. Day 1 is 40mg, then it steps down 5mg/day. If you can't afford to see a dr., can you go to the hosp -they HAVE to see you- serious sinus infections can be dangerous. And prednisone is pretty cheap- do you know anyone who will share (it's probably the most common cortisteroid). Once that's under control, let's talk some more. Take care, Judy
