Hi, Lynne. Could you please answer a few questions about your selegiline treatment and your social phobia?
Is your social phobia what you would call fairly severe - such as high levels fo antipatory anxiety prior to giving presentations? Have you ever "frozen" or come close to that in giving a presentation or being in a closed office with a senior manager from your company?
Can you tell me what dose you found selegiline to be efficacious and how that level of efficacy may have compared to previous meds, such as Nardil and Klonopin (the "gold standars" as referred to by some psychdocs)?
By the way, I tried Selegiline (Eldepreyl) up to 60 mg/day, and the only real effect I saw was a huge increase in my sexual appetite, libido, etc. Didn't notice any efficacy as far as social phobia.
Thanks, Lynne. JohnB :)
