Can't say I have much in the way of insight but what a list...low to mid-level depression would not necessarily include suicidal tendencies but disrupted sleeping and eating patterns would be some of the indicators. For a full outline you could check out Dr B's reference page for an appropriate link. One clue may be if you felt better when you were on Zyban which is also know as the anti-depressant Wellbutrin...
