Withdrawl or side-effect from new drug?

Posted by football on March 3, 2007, at 18:26:49

About a week and a half ago I quit taking 60 MG Adderall and 20 MG Lexapro in just a couple of days in order to start Nardil.
In addition to Nardil I was also prescribed Abilify.

Anyways, for the last couple of days I have been EXTREMELY irritable and have zero patience with anything. Also, I am having lots of difficulty focusing on anything.

Does anyone here have any idea what is causing this? Is a a withdrawal symptom or is it a result of the nardil/abilify?

-Thanks

I have never taken Nardil so I can't speak to that, but IMO, it sounds like standard Adderall withdrawal. For some people, the feelings you describe can last (to a certain degree) for up to a year. Others describe withdrawal lasting only 2-3 days and then a return to pre-treatment state.

Maybe when the Nardil kicks in the withdrawal feelings will diminish?
