Ok so I missed two doses of effexor xr 225 and felt all kinds of craziness. Now, I am terrified of ever trying to get off effexor. I'm thinking of switching to another antidepressant in hopes of having a less severe withdrawal when the time comes. Has anyone ever successfully switched off effexor to another anitdepressant without significant withdrawal symptoms?

If you had of asked me last year, I would have said that it's horrible. I'm not swiching, I'm just getting off effexor. And it's going so well, which I wasn't expecting. I'm going down really really slowly and giving myself time to adjust. Like, I'm not going to go down to the next step if I know I have a test that day... is effexor helping you at all?
