Cymbalta withdrawal

Posted by kdm on September 6, 2006, at 22:29:47

Hi,

I have been on Cymbalta for about a year now, to treat my depression. I have found once again that it has just stopped working. I came across this site and I was glad to find I am not alone with the withdrawal symptoms. The brain zaps are horrible, sick to my stomach, the fatigue is horrible. I dont know if its the combination of coming off or not starting anything new. I just have lost some hope in these meds. I have been on so many and the depression just comes back. I have my left my job for over 12 years, because the depression has gotten so severe. I am in serach of a new dr. I almost feel like when I tell her it stops working, she seems to not understand. she also had me on a combination of meds, I suffer from panic as well, but she added concerta to my meds to get me out of bed everyday. It did help, but then I never slept, so I stopped that as well. So I think I feel liked I crashed.I am in bed everyday cant seem to break out of this. The concerat I think was a very big mistake, because you go from a high all this energy to crashin if you miss a does.My focus is horrible, I feel like I cant accomplish anything at all through out the day. I guess what I am curious about is it the depression or the withdrawals...
