remeron withdrawal symptoms?

Posted by doggy on August 8, 2006, at 10:31:21

I have successfully discontinued Neurontin, Zoloft and others and my last straw is Remeron. ( I am still taking 75 mg Welbutrin ) I have been off Remeron for 2 weeks...I went from 1/4 pill to nothing in about a week. I was fine at first, but now I feel sick. I am nauseated, anxious, my body is VERY tense and I don't know what is causing it... my last child is going to college in 2 weeks and maybe that is the reason as I am very sad...Do these synptoms sound familiar? Should I give up? I am so much better off the other meds.

Another question...and thanks Maxine. Has anyone ever experienced Parkinson-like aymptoms on or off Remeron?

hi doggy,

i don't what symptoms you're thinking of but i think some of us on this board experienced some tremors and i think all of us had some measure of anxiety - if you've got the patience to slog through some very long threads you'll see what all of us have experienced :). i was very tense in my body too.

take care,
jules
