Has anyone out there experienced the feeling of being "high", overall buzzyness coming off of Cymbalta? I was not on this drug for very long 1 week at 30mg uped to 60mg probably for about 2 weeks, sent my BP up so was told to go off the medication by going back to 30mg for a week and then done. I've felt so strange ever since. Been to the ER and nothing. My doc is clueless and I like and trust her. She did not put me on this a Pain Management doc did, for periphial(sp) neuropathy. Bottom line I've been buzzed for 1 week. Does this ever stop? I seriously can't live like this much longer.

How is your pain? As the only thing cymbalta did for me was realieve aches and pains. Did'nt realize it until I was off of it. That's not very long to be on it. Just keep weaning down. Some pour part of the capsule out. Don't chew it it has an enteric coating on the granules. But I had no trouble withdrawing from 30mg just stopped the med. Love Phillipa

All the symptoms of the Neuropathy have returned, pain included. I'm completely off the cymbalta. No doc has suggested I go back on to go off. It's been 8 days now still having the buzzed feeling, hot flashes and what feels like rushes from eye movement. This all needs to stop. Does it ever? Thanks for your imput.

I know everyone one is different but I think that it was about 10-14 days before I felt normal again after the Cymbalta. It is unpleasant and annoying but hang in there. It'll be over soon.

Thank you. I called Eli Lilly this morning to report adverse reaction to Cymbalta. They were actually glad I called. The reactions I'm having are NOT unheard of. I was grateful to hear that and hear from other people with similar reactions. It doesn't make it stop but there's a light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks.
