Hospitalization During Withdrawl

Posted by Ryan2828 on September 18, 2005, at 4:47:24

I am considering getting a bed with a nurse available to do cold turkey. I dont feel like going through slow tapering as I cannot get myself to do that. I want to get off Effexor 225mg, because I just cannot take the fatigue, tiredness, sleeping alot, no motivation. After starting Effexor I relapsed to gambling shortly after, I have been a total jerk to people, sometimes getting into fights. I just dont think it is good for me anymore. I don't feel like talking to anybody I am inside myself/my head all the time and I never have any emotions anymore.

*DON'T* do that!!! Sudden death is one of the things that can happen from going cold turkey! Yes, some people go cold turkey and suffer through it, but you are putting MAJOR STRESS on all your body systems and in the long run it is NO GOOD FOR YOU. *DON'T* go cold turkey!!!!!!
