Cytomel withdrawal

I've been taking it for a couple of years now, and I don't think it's doing anything for me. It's supposed to augment my ADs. I'd like to get off it, but I'm worried that it could have some kind of effect on my thyroid, since it is a thyroid hormone. Anyone else here taken it and quit?
