I need to talk about going off effexor cold turkey into week 3 and am little better at least i can set up I was in bed 6 days with flu like condition brain zaps vertigo nausea and it is ongoing I want to know if there is anything that can help get over the withdrawals of this drug I am strong person until trying to get this out of my system

Hey Patty R,
Cold turkey from effexor sux. If you go over to the Withdrawal board there is heaps of stuff there and a lot of wonderful people who helped me get through it.
Dr Bob will probably redirect this thread over there at any case.
Good luck, I'll be thinking of you and keeping an eye out for posts on your progress.

This is second time on. I seem to be better at times, at least i am up I hve been taking clarin d and it helps clear my dizziness somewhat, also b-12 If you go cold turkey i was in bed alot the first 2 weeks but for me it was better than going for months withdrawung little by little
