I've been on the same meds for a while but now I'm having trouble. My pdoc hasn't called me back - even after the two messages I left yesterday. Can't get an appt. until the middle of June and refilling these demons is not an option.
Sooo, I want to try to lower my doses.
Lamictal 100 - can I drop right to 50?
Wellbutrin 300 XL - can't cut these (cold turkey)
Cymbalta - 120 (got this covered)
Provigil - 200 (can I drop to 100 right away?)Any advice? I can't sleep and I'm ready to jump out of my itchy skin. We were planning on lowering things anyway last itme I saw her.

slowly. I was on 300mg and I took 150mg for 3 days then stopped. With Cymbalta I did the same; 30mg for 3 or 4 days then stopped with no problems. I hope you get some good input from the other board. I don't know anything about the others.

A 10 percent reduction every 7-10 days IMO. Ask your pdoc. Best of Luck.

Yes - unless you are prone to seizures, the dosage of Lamictal can be reduced fairly quickly.
