I just couldn't let you get away with the "Drugs are illegal for good reasons" line. I believe that you are way off the mark. It's all political and follows no rationality or scientific basis. If the legality of drugs was related to the harm they can cause then alcohol and tobacco would certainly be illegal. No-one has the right to dictate what I can or cannot put into my body.

With respect to self-medicating with weed. I have recently posted on the Psychobabble-Alternative about my experience with that. To summarise, it didn't work out for me and ended up causing more problems than it solved.
