Taboo Topic

Posted by anxious and sleeples on April 7, 2004, at 17:55:15

I know that this topic is taboo around here, but could anyone give me any advice on how to obtain benzo's online? I'm having a hell of a time and am receiving minimal assistance from doctor. I am not interested in over self-medicating.. I just want to feel normal.. some relief. Your feedback is greatly appreciated.

Please remember not to use this site to exchange information that could be used to import into the US prescription medication without a prescription:

What?! I am trying to get off of them!! and you want them? They are the worst. Do your research. They are so bad. I cry myself to death every day with the side effects that my Doctor is now telling me may be permanent from this drug!!

Thanks krazybirdlady. That was alot of info. Yes this is a grueling process. It is taking forever. I have been off of it for only 9 days after years of being on it. It took me over 6 mos to taper. I have a fog head feeling 24/7 I meen it 24/7 it does not go away and have had it ever since I started to taper. One day I hope it will go away. I can hardly function sometimes. It is like sleep apnia and having the flu every day all day forever. Not to complain everyone here has theres to it just bothers me to hear when someone really wants this drug. Thanks again for the info.

Just playing Middle-man here, facts are that this person may need a short-term Rx for Benzos, but you get that decided by your Dr.This Forum does not allow folks to"solicit"or"seek out"drugs from others,so it most likely bothered a lot of others,as well, to see this this mis-guided individual,s feeble attempt to"score".We do hope that you get your Rx for Benzos,if that is what your Physician thinks would benefit you,but do it right!Festus

Adding my agreement to the post by Festus-- the benzos really are remarkably safe and effective meds IF they are prescribed and taken responsibly.

If you think you need them, just be aware that they are supposed to be a short term thing for most people, even though some (my mom, for instance) has taken a tiny dose for sleep every night for 3 years now.

Bottom line is that the biggest part of "addiction" is the fact that you cannot control your usage. Given a 30 day supply of Klonopin, my mom's lasts thirty days, whereas some people would have an empty bottle in a week or less. Benzos can be okay if you have a doctor who knows what he's doing and is alert for signs of escalating usage ("lost" Rx excuses and such.)

Just wanted to stick up for the benzos- when I hear of people who've had problems with them, I blame their doctors, not the meds themselves. Good luck to those who are having problems with them and trying to stop. I'm an alcoholic in early recovery, so I can sympathize with the difficulties of getting off a drug.
