*Poem*

Sadly, the word compassion I doubted to be true,
Because I weighed the evidence, and when I did and do,
I found that, generally, the great preponderance
Overwhelmingly showed selfishness, and less in love's defense.
But when I became ill, laboring for breath,
And thinking of my family, and feeling close to death,
I asked for help; and I confess, to my great surprise,
Help sprung out around me like a surging, rising tide,
And I, who hid so long, feeling so misunderstood,
Was lifted up to find so many to be so kind and good.

I liked having the title of the poem in the subject line.
But that's me.

Subject line.

I think I do too, actually.

I guess I changed my mind.

Might it be a good idea to start the subject line with "Poem:", followed by the title of the poem? That way, we can know that Hiddenhurt is not asking for urgent support. Of course, one might see the hurt hidden in the poems.

I don't know.

I still want to read the poems.
