don't touch it. I had one crawl up my pants leg when I was in college and it stung me on the front of my leg between my ankle and knee. By the time I ripped those jeans off the glands in the pelvic region were sore and swollen. Their sting can cause a drop in blood pressure and even convulsions and is extremely painful. It's an asp. People go to the ER. I don't remember what I did. Didn't see a doctor.

These things turn into moths which I just learned yesterday. The sting felt like someone had a fire red branding iron with tiny spikes on the end being pressed to my leg.
Florida ER's are flooded with people that have been stung.
