Haven't heard from Scott for a while. Are you okay, around? Just want to check that you are alive and at-least-semi-well.

That is an extraordinarily sweet thing for you to do.
I am alive and not feeling terrible. I'll take that for now. I explained to my doctor that I consider the reductions in my symptoms resulting from treatment to be little more than palliative. I impressed upon him that we should both be looking for something much closer to remission.
I haven't been motivated to participate on Psycho-Babble lately. I'm not sure why. Burn-out perhaps? It is difficult to ascertain whether my lack of motivation is burn-out or the effects of depressive illness.
Anyway, I hope your difficult journey brings you to a place that is uniquely yours and where you may find joy and fulfillment. I'm looking for a similar outcome for myself, although my journey will be uniquely mine. I wish that I could say that I were on the right path. I may not be, but I plan on continuing to place one foot in front of the other and keep moving forward.
Thanks for your concern.

Could it be that babble now seems at times to be rather boring not like the times in the past when so many knew each other? Phillipa

I don't think that my lack of engagement is necessarily due to boredom. I think that it is more the result of my not having enough motivation to invest my limited mental energy to labor through reading and writing. I don't completely understand the reasons for why my level of interest has ebbed. For now, I pretty much look only for things that relate directly to my particular condition. One day at a time. I am certainly motivated to see Psycho-Babble remain a viable community, despite my temporary reduction in posting activity.

Sorry life is such a struggle still. Your hope and persistence are inspiring.
I'm managing amazingly well. Have gone from - how am I going to survive this - to - where can I buy flatware at a reasonable price?
I am moving in a bit over a week and my daughter is visiting for two days. So she and I will unpack, figure out where to put what. I'm kind of excited, actually.
