I can't look at bills, not good, and I have trouble looking at my bank balance.
When I lost a house in mid eighties(a lot of people did.) Some of the phone calls were nasty.I survived.
OK, time to look at bills. :(

Hi Phil,
I'm with you on the bills. My unemployment check is less than my car payment. I just went outside barefoot in the snow and in my pajamas (yes, it's after 12 my time) to get the mail and the highlight was no bills.
I wish we both had rich uncles who just discovered we exist and make up for the lost years with cold hard cash.

I grew up in apts, with the electric getting turned off due to no money for bills. I remember coming home to see my mother sitting on the floor in the kitchen crying. When I had my son, we were on food stamps and medicaid. But my husband decided to start his own business, and over the years, it all turned around for us. I no longer worry about $. But I will never forget what it feels like.

Ur right P, health is everything, physical and mental. Without it, $ means nothing. But having the $ and good insurance to care for urself can be a lifesaver.

G it sure helps many around here are now going to cash only docs as the really good one just decided not to accept any insurance. And lots of people can afford this. They end up saving in the end with a good diagnosis and the right treatment P
