To remind me of how much I don't pay attention to appearance.
I'm hygienic, fairly kempt and dressed for comfort.
I won't buy a pair of uggs or anything northface purely on principle.
I'm against heels and fur.
I like that "what not to wear" show though.
Neat, tailored...
I need a makeover.

Why not northface? Not that I have any, but just curiuos. Uggs I have three pair. I can see why if it's fur to which you object.
I used to watch the British version of What Not to Wear. I loved to see the women get tarted-up a bit. Vicarious thrills.

Oh, it's not that I don't like them, it's just that I count hundreds of them when I go to the mall and I must not comply. ;-)
Do your feet get hot in the uggs?

I'm generally hot and never wear jackets, etc. But my feet are usually freezing. I found some slippers that keep my toes warm, when I wear them with two pairs of socks. Do Uggs really make the feet nice and toasty warm? I've spent a fortune on various foot warming strategies.

Uggs like any thick shearling keep my feet warm. I think the boots look like people are wearing muppets, but I kinda' like that now. Surfers use them for good reason. I think they feel dreamy. My feet feel cold except in warm weather, so I wear mine Fall through Spring and some nights throughout the summer.
