Just returned from the first big trip since being in recovery. This is something I could NOT do when in illness thoes!!
Small Island in the Caribbean. Wonderful and enjoyable to the max!!

That's great to hear. I can't even imagine how great it must have been to experience it. And now--wait for it, this is honest but cheesy--you have memories that will last a lifetime. And a positive experience to show you that you really are capable of living a great, fulfilling life.

My husband has been unwilling to take a vacation with me because I have been so unstable, in hospitals, bouts of depression, etc. He said if I could stay stable for a month, we could go somewhere. So I've been stable for over a month and we are leaving for Bar Harbor on Thursday.
