You might remember the exchange about being 'odd'.
The other day my endocrinologist, as he was keyboarding in my responses to his questions asked if I had a shrink or therapist. No difference in tone than his previous question about swallowing or before that any change in weight.

I felt comfortable. Even cared for.

Very few of my medical doctors omit that question.

The endo is very calm, methodical, and kind. He shakes my hand upon entering the room and when we leave. That in itself is helpful. He's working to stabilize my thyroid and seems concerning about something about my swallowing which he slyly ferreted out in a non-alarming manner. He ordered a barium swallow, and I thought wtf, sure. I'm sure it's fibro related. No cures, but I'm slowly getting the hang
of this.Thanks for asking.

My TCM people put me on this. I don't have an opinion about it but it is for people with fibro.
