People always say asking friends to introduce you to other friends is a good way to meet people. I have a lot of Babble friends and you know me well enough I think. So, Babble, can you find me a boyfriend? There is just one real requirement. He has to be a really great guy, helpful, selfless, understanding etc.
I'd be willing to move for a really great guy.

Look, I don't wish to imply anything but (this is impossible, what do I say?) do you really want a boy?
Now I'm suggesting that you are a lesbian!!!
No, no, really, I'm just thinking back to that thread.
Where do you live? Ontario?
You should move to Kyoto. There are some very nice looking boys here. Such nice haircuts.
Well, you probably don't want to move to Kyoto and you think there are more important things in life than good haircuts (but you haven't seen these!).Don't move to Australia to find one.
That's my advice.

What about Quebec?
I have heard the girls in Quebec are wonderful and the boys are outrageously great.
And it is (kinda) out of the Anglosphere.
So close.

About the boys and girls in Quebec?
From my son when he was in Canada.
He said the girls from there were very beautiful and the boys were wild snowboarders doing things like sailing off 20ft cliffs.
I think he liked Quebec City too.

I second Quebec, especially Montreal. My daughter lives there and every time I visit her, I say, I have never seen so many beautiful young men in one place in my life. And I've lived in a lot of big cities. For that matter, I've never seen so many good looking young woman and good looking older men and women. Nobody, it seems, is overweight. Montreal is my favorite city in the Americas.

I love living in Montreal and women are beautiful. I feel such an ugly duckling here. But there is a joie de vivre that cannot go unnoticed. I'm still single, but that's I never go anywhere that I meet guys.

Well, the politics might but at least I know nothing about them.

And there are so many who cannot speak English.
I'm very impressed by that. They must work hard at it.
That is reason enough in itself.

Leonard Cohen came from Montreal, didn't he?
It does look a bit modern from the photos.
No one likes Quebec City?

Israel?
I met an Israeli at Cradle Mountain in a mountain hut and it only took me 5 minutes to disagree with him about global warming. Then again he was a nice looking young man.
Then again, where I live is full of Israeli restaurants run by what I take to be (rightly or wrongly) refugees from Israeli military service.

Now I'm curious about the politics in Quebec.
I love the posts from people from Quebec who you can see hardly ever use English as their first language because everything is translated into English from the French......I take the valium and he makes to me calm, or something like that. They are my favourite posts.
