I'm going home this coming Monday and talked to T about getting a letter saying my dog (a 12 lb. Lhasa apso mix) is an emotional support animal. He wrote me a letter...and after faxing and them "not getting it," refaxing and them telling me information i had to add...then adding it and refaxing....they send me an email saying that my request is denied. They also included all the info I needed in the letter....which they should've let me know before...i've talked to them on the phone at least 5 times.
I've cried so much. I'm going to miss him and being at home and with my family is stressful and triggering and i was really looking forward to having him there to help me. And for some reason one of my flights doesn't allow pets, so I can't even try to buy him a ticket.
It's going to be hard and I hate Continental Airlines. I should've taken Southwest like usual but this ticket was cheaper. I know he will be ok where he's going to stay (at a friend's w/ dogs) but i don't know if i'll be okay...and i was really looking forward to him meeting my family.
I called T and left a message, but he's on vacation. This whole thing was such an ordeal...and i had to pay almost $10 total for all the faxes i sent.
:(

I am really sorry to hear that. I don't understand the part about your T writing a letter (who did he write it to and why). All I know is that being away from your furry therapist this time of year is hard. When will you see him again?
