Today for some reason, I feel lonely. And sad as a result of lonely. I feel like a little kid who needs to be held.

Thanks to both of you. I have a stuffed dog I call "Seabiscuit" (who knows why).
Just after I posted, my son called & I told him how I was feeling & he said, "Hey - that's no good!! " & then pointed out that we had arranged to go out for him to grocery shop & let's go now! So that was nice.
I had a good cry & he gave me the longestttttt hug. I later ate half a sandwich & quite quickly felt better....not on the verge of tears any more. I realized that all I'd eaten (at noon) was a banana. I think it was low blood sugar.
Thank you so much for posting.

Kath still not eating? I wasn't here when you wrote. Doc's appointment and of course you know the rest. Bad weather doesn't help either. Phillipa
